Lash Le Roux Safaris

Lash Le Roux Safaris base camp is situated about 200 miles from Kimberley, the diamond capital, 100 miles south of Botswana’s southern border and 40 miles south east of the Tswalu Desert Reserve. (See map). Clients are normally picked-up at the Kimberley airport and transported in an air conditioned vehicle to the hunting area. On your way to camp is beautiful landscape scenery, an abundance of game and we drive through the historic town of Kuruman, where the famous Selous bought his first double rifle on his way into dark Africa. Road transfers from O.R. Tambo International airport in Johannesburg can be arranged at an additional cost.

The main hunting area consists of 22 000 acres, privately owned land, without any cattle grazing. An additional 60 000 acres of prime hunting area are also hunted. Vegetation consists of Kalahari thorn veld, open savannah, Acacia and broken hill country.
